Thank you for your interest in the University of Florida.
Please read the entire message before proceeding!
The visitation program is designed for potential doctoral students applying to gain admission for Fall 2018. Students must either be (1) an undergraduate senior or a 2nd year master’s student graduating Spring or Summer in the current academic year, or (2) have already completed either an undergraduate or master’s degree in order to be eligible to apply.
Note: Students must be seeking a PhD starting Fall 2018. Students applying for a master's degree for Fall 2018 and seeking a PhD in a future term are ineligible.
Currently, we are not accepting CVP applications from students applying to the following professional programs: College of Dentistry (D.M.D.) College of Law (J.D.), College of Medicine (M.D. or P.A.),College of Public Health and Health Professions (P.T. or O.T.), College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, and the College of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M)
Application to the CVP program is a two-step process:
STEP ONE: Complete a UF Graduate School Application
Applicants must complete an official UF graduate application for the department they seekadmission for Fall 2018. This includes paying the application fee.
STEP TWO: Completet he CVP application
CVP application requirements:
- UFID Number (Given after an official UF graduate application is submitted and paid in full)
- Transcripts (Unofficial transcripts will be accepted for this application)
- Test scores, if available
- Three Faculty members who you would interview with
- Proof of UF graduate application completion and proof of payment (attach as a picture or pdf)

Prepare your resume/curriculum vitae and your unofficial transcripts in advance, before beginning the application. Applications will not be saved so, be sure to have all materials ready and revised before beginning the process.
Please note your resume/curriculum vitae must address the following:
- Previously attended institutions, dates, major(s), and GPA.
